When I was first diagnosed with lung cancer and word spread like wildfire I received cards, letters, emails and visits daily. I encouraged everyone to keep doing that as it is what gets me through the day.
Reality, life goes on. People get caught up in every day life. I do understand and I ask that you try to take a minute out of your day every once in a while to send me a note, give me a call or stop by to visit. My days are very long and they blend together. A friendly face now and again lifts my spirits more than you could appreciate.

Keep up the positive thinking. It might be a long journey, but you'll come out strong at the end. Cheryl and I will continue to be there for you and visit - we need to pick out some of those neat caps for you. Soon enough we'll be taking some rides to get you out for a while.

I was just thinking of you this morning - the Sox had a tough weekend (knew you would be bumming) and I was running into the team meeting (late as usual). I am happy to see this blog spot and will share with the team. Hang in there! I hope the spring weather is lifting your spirits! Best wishes - Tracey
ReplyDeleteHello and how is my lunch buddy? This blog is a great idea! I have never done this before so this is going to be an experience for me. Don't worry about your hair falling out. It will grew back fast and thicker than before. Everytime I go up the stairs now in Westborough I think of you as I'm gasping for air. Stay positive and we must do lunch soon. Miss You.
